VIEW Team Leader/Business Owner Event 2025

Reflecting on past workplace challenges & achievements, and setting meaningful goals for 2026

On Thursday, November 20th, we hosted our final VIEW Team Leader event of 2025. This session brought together current VIEW members who own a business or lead a team within our coworking community. Designed as an opportunity to network, reconnect and share ideas over coffee and breakfast, each event focuses on a topic that supports both personal and business growth. This month’s theme focused on reflecting past challenges and achievements in the workplace.

A group of 8 attendees joined us on a bright but cold morning at The View. Over the course of 90 minutes, we spoke openly and honestly about the year - celebrating the wins, acknowledging the setbacks and sharing the lessons learned. Conversations spanned a variety of areas including bitcoin, finance, digital marketing, advertising, sales, the gender pay gap and workplace equality.

We also took time to reflect on the topics explored at previous Team Leader events, such as customer acquisition and client relationships, staffing solutions and employee engagement, as well as AI and the tools we use daily. Unsurprisingly, AI once again became a focal point of discussion, both its advantages and its challenges. The group explored the balance between embracing new technologies and maintaining a human centred approach to work. We left with a shared appreciation for innovation, yet also a renewed value for the ‘human’ in how we work and lead.

The event wrapped up with a Q&A session, highlighting lessons learned throughout 2025 and inspiring a focus on the positives as we enter 2026. With fresh goals and renewed energy, we’re ready to dive into Q1 2026. Let’s go!
