Faces of The View: Meet Niamh and Rebecca

Running a space like The View takes passion, attention to detail and a real understanding of the importance of human connection. Nobody knows this better than Niamh Berry, our Community Manager, and Rebecca Molloy, The View’s Workplace Coordinator. Together they not only keep things running smoothly but, most importantly, guarantee that each member’s experience is wholesome and rewarding.  

With a background in Graphic Design and Digital Media, Niamh is a creative mind with a love for social connections. Rebecca, too, came to The View from a different industry: she’s a qualified beauty therapist with extensive experience managing salons.  

Another common ground they stand on: both Niamh and Rebecca spent years abroad, in New York and Sydney, respectively, before returning to Dublin. The View welcomed them, and here they have thrived and become a fundamental part of our team.  

Read on for a thoughtful, engaging conversation with the women that put everything into making our space a welcoming, bustling environment where people and businesses come to connect.  

What's the most rewarding part of working with our members?

NB: For me, it's getting to know each member on a personal level. Whether it's learning about their business, chatting about their latest projects, or recommending a local restaurant. There's a real sense of community and friendship at The View, and it's lovely to be part of that. 

RM: Yes! The most rewarding part of my job is definitely getting to know our members. Every day I meet people from different industries and walks of life that I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise. It's been amazing to build genuine friendships and watch members connect with each other, too.  

Seeing someone come in on their first day feeling a little unsure and then, a few weeks later, chatting away over coffee or collaborating with other members is really rewarding. It makes The View feel like so much more than just a place to work. 

Community is a huge part of what you do. What does building a great coworking community mean to you?

NB: Building a strong community makes coming to work easy. I'm a people person, so I love getting to know members, helping them make the most of everything The View has to offer, and creating events that reflect their interests. 

RM: A big part of what makes The View special is the sense of community. Many of our members work for themselves or remotely, so having a place where people know their name, stop for a chat, or grab a coffee together can make a real difference. To me, building a great coworking community means creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, supported and connected. 

What's one connection, conversation or moment you've witnessed here that perfectly sums up what this community is all about? 

NB: There have been so many memorable moments, but one that always stands out is when Santa visits The View each Christmas and members bring in their families. It's a lovely reminder that our community extends beyond work.   

RM: There isn't one specific moment that comes to mind—it's more something you notice over time. It's nice seeing people who didn't know each other when they first joined end up having coffee every day or even working together. I think those little everyday interactions are what make The View different from a regular office. 

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?

NB: Outside of work, I'm a mum, and that's my favourite role of all.  

RM: I'm usually either running after my kids or out for a run myself! I love taking on the occasional half marathon. Most weekends are filled with kids' activities, farms and play centres, but if I ever get a bit of time to myself, I'm happy anywhere with good company and an Aperol Spritz! 

How do each of you make sure members always have a seamless experience?

NB: Communication is really important. I make a point of checking in regularly with members, keeping conversations going, and encouraging honest feedback—both positive and constructive. That way, we can continue to improve their experience and make sure they always feel supported. 

RM: I agree; communication is key. Niamh and I work really well together; we make sure we're both up to date on our members, upcoming events and anything that needs attention, so there's consistency no matter who members see when they come in.  

We both want everyone to have the best possible experience at The View, so we always try to guarantee members feel welcomed, looked after and that nothing ever slips through the cracks.  

What's one hidden gem around the local area members should know about?

NB: I don’t know if it’s a hidden gem, but I'd have to say Malahide Castle and its beautiful grounds. Whether you're looking for a lunchtime walk, a coffee, or somewhere to unwind after work, it's a fantastic place to visit and one of the best local spots. 

RM: For me, it has to be Malahide Social. It's small, cosy and the food is always amazing. Whether it's a date night with my partner, Phil, or catching up with my sisters or friends, it's usually our first choice. It also helps that they make a brilliant Aperol Spritz!
