July’s Team Leader Event

We hosted our 3rd Team Leader event on July 4th 2024.

On July 4th, we hosted our third Team Leader event in The View. This event is focused on current View members who own a company or manage a team based here in our co-working space. This event is a way for members to network, catch up and get to know each other over coffee and breakfast, while discussing a topic that can help their business grow. The topic of this event was Customer Acquisition & Client Relationships in the workplace. 

There were ten attendees, with three new additions to the group. Angelo Orsini from Your World Health Care, Shane Gaffney from Strive Innovation and John Magill from Zaprite. Angelo spoke about cold calling and how it’s the best and most effective way of customer communication for his company. 

Shane from Strive Innovation spoke about starting his E–commerce business and selling online. He also spoke about the power of sponsored posts and how launching his own app helped him to acquire customers. 

John from Zaprite brought his knowledge of bitcoin to the conversation. Starting his own bitcoin company in Austin Texas, John spoke about his background in graphic design. He has a team of 5 growing fast, with different clients in Ireland and in the USA. He quoted “Bitcoin fixes everything "and will be our future. 

Michelle O Keeffe from Platform 55 spoke about launching a new partnership with a recruitment company and a PR company in the UK and the importance of inclusivity in the workplace. Michelle also referred to using the outbound, inbound, upsell and referral method to keep customer acquisition a float. 

Jon Ryan from Holkate Financial Advisors spoke about the importance to check back in on your clients. He shared with the group ‘feel confident in your business and check back in on your clients.

As a group, we discussed B2B & B2C customer service and the importance of tracking clients and client relationships. We wrapped up the 90-minute session with a brief Q&A.
